Amid the growing restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) has responded by waiving rescheduling fees for the GMAT exam.
Here’s what they said in a correspondence sent out yesterday:
We are all facing an unprecedented situation with the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak situation.
We understand that these are challenging times and recognize that the outbreak also affects your current GMAT™ exam registration plans. With so many questions surround test dates, we want to help alleviate some of the uncertainty.
Effective immediately, we have temporarily waived all GMAT exam reschedule fees. You can now reschedule to another date and/or location (pending any travel restrictions) at no charge to you.
Our test takers are our first priority. We hope this additional flexibility will assist you should you find yourself in a situation where you cannot sit for your scheduled exam.
We want to do everything possible to assist you during this time so that you can focus on what is most important to you. Please know that we are here to help. As questions arise during this rapidly evolving situation, our Customer Care team is ready to assist.
